Therapies we offer include:

Brainspotting (BSP)

Brainspotting is an exciting, highly effective whole-system therapy approach that provides access to deeper parts of the brain and nervous system. Similar to Somatic Experience, BSP enables therapists to help clients process and heal on a deeper level than traditional talk therapies. Many of our clients experience remarkable results in very few sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is still considered the gold standard of effective therapy for PTSD and other diagnoses, including depression and anxiety. Clients learn strategies that can help change negative thinking and painful emotions, disrupting ineffective behavioral patterns. Clients practice skills during sessions, and often achieve accelerated benefits from homework practiced between sessions.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Originally designed by Marsha Linehan to work with Borderline Personality Disorder, DBT is an evidenced-based therapy that has been found to be highly effective with many other diagnoses including depression, suicidal ideation, self-injury, and eating disorders. Clients learn skills, including mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance, to help with painful emotions and ineffective behavioral patterns.

Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is known as an evidence-based therapy that helps clients process traumatic events and experiences. Through bilateral stimulation, clients are able to access both brain hemispheres and can therefore access both traumatic memories and present, here-and-now experience. By creating new neural pathways in the brain, activating events are no longer emotionally charged.

Many clients feel that both BSP and EMDR  help more quickly than traditional talk therapy.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS helps clients identify and work with multiple parts of themselves, including the inner child and defenses that may appear as perfectionistic or highly reactive. By working with various parts, clients are able to attach more authentically to their true selves and develop more compassion for themselves and others. This is a great therapy for issues including unresolved trauma, emotional dysregulation, and dissociation.

“I’m so glad to have learned about EMDR and Brainspotting as treatments for long-standing PTSD. And I’m so grateful to have found an experienced and insightful practitioner.”
